I was wondering how that black lower part of the 07's rear bumpers would look on the 04-06 bumpers. Could you anyone please do a quick photoshop?
If it ends up looking good I - and I am sure other people too will try to be creative and create something similar....

And to Deus - if you do this..... no red tapes or lines please

 

I don't think that "part" comes off..its built onto the 07 bumper..so for you to get that look, you would need an 07 bumper..and for that you don't need a photoshop ahaha..hope this helps?

Can not believe I didn't think of that before J/K What happens is, IMHO I think both rear bumpers are nice looking -- however between the two my pick goes to the 04-06. BUT I absolutely LOVE that black part of the 07 bumper as it seems to give the bumper a polished look .....

 

Oh damn Looks hot. Does anyone have any idea on how that black part can be made? What kind of material would one use?

lol deus. I honestly dont see why people go thru the cost and hassle for the 6.5 bumper. It doesnt look much better then the normal 6th gen bumper. Now the front bumper is worth the hassle.

Awesome Larsim. I know a bunch of us have bought overlays from him. I think he did a G35 roof overlay too! I think the bumper overlay will look good. If he does it I'll probably buy one.

Funny thing is that I've been thinking of contacting him about making one for me and then this thread came along....

 

I saw the G35 roof overlay in person. Looks sharp. I have many of his overlays: tail lights, amber front side lights, chrome strips (everyone ought to get this). I want to have him make CF overlay for my splitter

 

Oh damn, I just jumped on his site again and found that he already makes one for the '07 G35! Check it out...$40, I need one!

Got this from this site too - picture of an overlay on a G35. According to the site he also offers this on CF. This is very close to what would fit perfectly the 04-06 bumpers....

 

Ah crap! look at this. He already makes the rear valence for the Altima..... What about the Maxima????

 

And these roof overlays look hot too!!!!! I want one!!!!!!!!

 

Hey, let's not allow this issue to die, this is a cheaper mod than changing the entire bumper cover.

The more we insist, the more chance we get it for the 04-06'ers
