Racingline is still coming out with one, it's just been delay several times to make sure some other things got done, (strut bars, front endlinks, moving ) but they are in the works, the last sample that was used for dyno testing had one minor flaw I didn't like, was still completely functinal but still not 100% to me, so a new sample is being done, should actually be done within the week. Test fitting then production, release should be in feb some time I would hope.

But they are still equal length since they’re the HS KO’s.

Just wondering.

I don't think it's an issue because most of the readings are taken above that point in the exhaust. I'm sure someone else that knows what they're talking about can verify this.

I think the o2 sensor is still down stream and functioning. Its just that its still in parameters and doesnt set off a light. Now if there was a visual inspection for the state in would fail.

I finally got around to installing my Cattman Y-pipe. I drive it around for a couple of hours and threw an SES light. But after talking to Brian, I'm about 90% sure that its a bad sensor. I'm the first to have this happen after a Cattman Y-pipe install. Can't wait to get this thing to the track.

If you get a SES light, get the code and see what the cause was, best way to trace the problem.

still new to the maxima and learning quick, how easy is the install of a y pipe? Can it be done with jack stands from underneath the car? any PDF files with installation instructions. does the y pipe come with the bung predrilled for the sensor?

Yes. If you're nimble you can just jack up one side and do it. Use jack stands for safety though. Its very easy to install. Hardest part is getting the 8 old rusty bolts off, not an issue with power/air tools though.

Come with O2 sensor port as well. I couldn't get my old O2 sensor off so I had to buy a new one for $100 or so. Be aware that could be the case.

i jacked up my car from the center point [cross member] and put jack stands on the side. took about 30min to 1hr. i used a lot of wd-40 to help the bolts come off. install was like 10 min. i have the ce pipe from taz but same concept

Definitely. I was trying to see if anyone else had the same issue. The Cattman himself hadn't heard of any problems. Well. I forgot to plug the sensor back in...so that's awesome. I'll hit the track this week to get some results.
