Here goes a joke Big Pete - I remember hearing a similar line a few years ago when my cousin was trying to set me up a for blind date. I asked the girl for a pic and she said and I quote "I will send you the pic - but TRUST me! I look wayyyyy better in person".

Making a long story short - when I got to this restaurant and saw her at the table, I made a U turn and got the heck outa there asap....
But seriously - mine did come with those strips and before driving it out of the lot, I asked the salesguy to have it removed. Not sure how they did it though....

Chris-
at your second picture!
OP-do not attempt to take the pin-stripe off on a "cold" day. Use a heat gun to warm the entire thing up and then use a new plastic razor blade on one end and then just peel the entire thing off carefully...pulling closest to the parts that are still on the car to prevent it from ripping.
Then use some adhesive remover and wax it up

Love the look!! Very smooth and clean.I love the clean look. Some of you guys have some awesome rides!!
I was reading thru the posts and I dont know if I missed it or not,but what kind of grille is that? I think it looks real nice.Im not a fan of the 3.5,but thats just me.
I think tail tint will look real sharp on there.I think it will add some contrast.

billett grill from ebay
Took the 3.5 and the burger off the back. Looks alot cleaner. As for the pinstripe, I think it looks 2 plain without it, Once I blackout the tails and get some rims itll look alot nicer (the pinstripe). Gotta keep it somewhat different. My car will end up being a clone of KC's Max. Which isnt a bad thing by anymeans, but I like to be a bit unique with what I do. As always thanks for the feedback guys
I must agree...
The white Max is surely the color that sets off the 6th Gens. Stock White 6th Gens still has me turning my head. I actually like the grille. I havent seen the 3.5 there before. Original. Good luck with all the upcoming mods bro.
