04-08 roof overlay

Guys - in speaking with Bat, there is a possibility that he may also create some roof overlays for our cars but he would first like to see what the interest level for those are. If created, it should look like something like this:

-------------------------------------------------------------> Let's show Bat we want this!!!!

nope, only color I've seen roofs painted are black, and it should stay that way ahaha..I think black is so it blends with the tints, and just gives it a clean look.. a random color on black would just be ew.

Hmmm..cost of vinyl overlay VS. cost of having roof only painted ?? Something is telling me paint is prob a better bang for your buck since the price will probably be very close to the cost of the overlay.

It seems the overlay will go for about $70.

How much would it be to paint the roof, about $200?

Eh $70 is not as bad as i thought...Im just weighing pros & cons of either one. Ex: Bubbles in the vinyl, fading vs. paint job for life. Just my .02 .

Yea - I don't think it will look right on a black car..... Perfect colors for a black roof overlay will probably be white, silver, red......

no need for an overlay on a black car, unless its CF and you got yorself a CF hood.. especially red.... black overlay would look tight on a white, silver, and maroon car imo.
Dues, your car is perfect. Please, no more mods!

btw, is that bat's nsx? i'm on nsxprime.com and i think i've seen him as a member.... there only 1 blue bat who sells overlays, right?

I dont like the red overlay. i would like to see a CF overlay. I think it may look nice with a CF hood, CF splitter, and maybe CF rear valence.

Im sure he can do a CF Print vinyl... You could do a real CF overlay but it would be big jump in price and probably not worth the time to make it.
