You guys make it sound like you tried it but turned back when you saw the work involved. Who actually tried it? Who has compared the elite to non-elite rear?

I love my elite package. Everyone gets their own personal space - everyone gets their own heated seats. But for non-elite owners, I'm not sure if the seats are postioned different, since the elite package has a whole metal back wall behind the seats. Seats do not fold down. Only the little door at the center console armrest has access to the trunk.

elite package is ****ing sex in the Max!

What are you guys talking about when you say "i'd rather keep my bench seat?" As in with the elite package the front seats aren't bench seats?

I like the look of the elite backseats but u lose at least 1 extra person when ur taking trip or just havin fun w/ ur friends. I went from a 2 seat car to this so i prefer to keep my bench seats in the back

Ok so there are 2 hurdles I see with the Elite conversion; 1) the metal behind the back rest and 2) extra metal underneath the seat cushion?

On another note I've seen some pretty well priced used SE Elite 6spds on cars.com. Only if my Max wasn't so modded.

Oh well, if the 7th Gen is AWD and VQ37 like they say I'll be trading this one in anyway.
