...you guys are a bit impatient it seems. I believe it took us a little bit to also get mods. They weren't readily available from the get-go. Be a bit patient and I'm sure some creative minds are thinking of a few things for you guys. You should feel proud in a way that some of us with the earlier 6 gens are using your front bumpers as a mod.

well i did call, but they gave me the wrong count obviously. So just wondering when these babies are gonna be sent out. They keep telling us were 8 or 9, and if that was the case we should of had atleast 10 or 11 buyers by now.

Someone on the other org called Justin today, and he said they still had nine but regardless, they will be shipped out Monday.

No, There is more than enogh sealant to reuse. The sealant is what you are baking at 225 degrees. It makes it soft and gooey, and reusable.
If you use your own sealant, it will evaporate moisture into the housing while it is drying.

This fcking sucks ! One of the rings cracked on me, completely out of nowhere. Now I installed MULTIPLE amount of angel rings for customers, so I have plenty of experience with them. I pre drilled the holes for them, at the right distance from eachother so when the rings are in place, theres no pressure on them. I place the lower ring in, as I go to place the upper ring in, the bottom one just snaps out of nowhere...

You're not the only one, I had mine installed in the headlight and sealed for 7 hours before installing in the car and looked and my bottom halo had broke. I had to order another one, you do not get any sympathy when dealing with the owner either. It was my fault no matter what! At least that is pretty much what they told me. Put another one in the same holes that I drilled and it is just fine. Hope you get yours resolved.

I think I like the looks of those halo's better, they actually fit the contour of the light housing. I am afraid of what may happen to all of us that bought through the group deal when the lights get shook, vibrated from everyday driving. Especially after what happened to mine.

I sent them an email right after the ring broke, the next day I got an email saying they'll gladly send me a replacement ring at no charge, I just have to pay for shipping. The day the ring broke (bottom one), I still went ahead and installed the upper ring, the bazel layed on my workshop table the entire day yesterday... and then today I noticed it, and the top ring snapped in half aswell ! My workshop is seperated from everything in my house, so theres no way anyone touched it and caused the 2nd ring to break.

I gave them a call today, and requested for 2 rings to be mailed out, hopefully they do so, I'm guessing they're being nicer to me considering I installed about 10 of their kits on other cars (g35's), and never had a problem with them. They're actually looking for me to become their certified installed for the Tri-State area, but I dont think if I'm willing to do it, especially now that they're products break so easily.

I'll keep you guys updated, I imagined I wasn't the only one that ran into this problem.

Heres an update...

Now, after that first ring broke, I went ahead and installed the 2nd ring on the same headlight the first ring broke on, the one that goes on top... before even calling AAC to have them ship me out the replacement ring. I do the install, the top ring sits in fine, doesn't break, seems to be good...

I wait till the next day to call up AAC, and right before I call them, I took another look at the Maxima headlight bezel with the broken ring, and noticed that the upper ring also broke ! I mean... the bezel sat on my work table after I installed the ring, and I didnt touch it after, no one did... and the ring just broke... out of no where. So I call up AAC, tell Tiff about the ringS she has to send me, she said Jeff only said one, I said... its actually 2 rings, so without any hassles, they went ahead and sent me 2 extra replacement rings.

Now this wouldn't happen to your average Joe, if I didnt explain to them how I work on headlights and know what I'm doing, they woulda just told me to go fvck myself, like they did with a dozen of other customers I know.

Other Maxima owners who got the same kit already broke theirs, and AAC doesn't wanna replace it.

I dont know if I'll be sending in my contact info to AAC, so they can send me customers... I install their sh1ty product, and then people come crying to me. I'm going to install this last 2 pairs of
