Thanks to Warren's (ramberg) recent Fujita upgrade via Chernmax, I now own a Injen CAI. I put a APC air filter on it from Advance Auto Parts for $25 and my mechanic made a piece to connect the intake to the engine since Warren had to reuse his.

Before I put it on, I was looking for some good videos for the new sound I'd be hearing from the VQ35. I found nothing good quality.

So my buddy just got a HD video cam in the other day, and decided to test it out with my upgrade.

It's fun. But ya, I do use more gas. Probably cause I'm on it more now. Everything else is stock... for those who might be wondering about other mods.

It sounds really good! Just few questions:

Did you notice a big difference in sound from the in-cabin when driving?
Is it noisy or just in the higher rpm's?
Some extra HP's?

Yah my buddies said the same. They said it sounds like a race car, I said "L O L". It does sound good and makes the car sound more aggressive definately no doubt about it.

Definately a big difference in sound from the in-cabin. It's a low deep growl from 2500rpm till about 5200rpm, then it's loud definately. Sounds serious.

I haven't dyno'd, but my with my super accurate butt dyno (LOL) I noticed a increase in pickup. Even if it's a few hp, whatever, the **** sounds nuts. I dig it.

Plus... it makes the car a total sleeper, since I have no exhaust, rims, etc. Then I downshift, and fly by a car, they must be like WTFZ? lmao

love the injen i have the injen with mr technology deff hp gains on top end , KILLS the low end , with just the intake i took auto 6th gen by 5 cars with out a doubt , lol **** it i took fully bolt ond Felixes auto 6th gen including headers ,pulleys and all that ISH , but my car is just special =] but back to point the injen CAI sounds nice but i think fujita is even better ??? lol

 

o and please don't bash me that im a ricer please i just wanted to say that The MR tech. Injen CAI does give HP gains on top end i love it , but if anyone wants to see some vids of my runs pm me , TRACK not illegal street racing =]
