Please answer only if you have installed headers or know for a fact. Do the hotshot or other headers currently availible work with the stock y-pipe or only the y-pipes they come with.

 

I just got mines installed last week , comes with Y pipe , everything bolt up fine without a problem , TopSpeed headers

 

I have the HotShot headers and their Y-pipe. Its part of the package. There is no need for the OEM y-pipe.

 

Did you get the CEL on when u installed the hotshot headers? I have a set, need to replace the cat before I install them. If throw the CEL theyr going in the dumpster.

They will only work with their own y-pipes. The headers are far too long for the stock y-pipe to work.

The car is still at the shop for other things , But I was there on the lift and no CELs as of yet when I cranked it over.


TopSpeed Pro-1 family sponsar, there are basically samilar to the ones you find on Egay OBX, Reactive, arospeeds all those headers come from the same place.

Can your family get us a group deal on the headers?

Let us know if you get a CEL after driving it around. It probably may take a day or two I'd think.

 

Well the car wont be out til this week , im waiting for a pair of CVs that were reinforced , I use the same company when I was on a boosted Altima.


Not sure if I can go a group deal , the last time I did a group deal on Maxima.org was about 3 years ago for the Y pipes for 5th gens...


I was stuck with 30 Ypipes and took forever for me to get them sold... Im not sure if I wanna go that route again because maybe 1 or 2 people commit to buying them and the others flake out. But if It wasnt for those 30 Ypipes I would have never met the Local maxima guys around my town.

It took me forever to get those sold and I was in debt for awhile.
