quickie question for switchbacks
i have the led tails and i remember ppl saying i have to get knew load resistors for the turning signals to work right. which load resistor do i need to get again. and is it the same installiation process as in the rear?

If you add switchbacks in the front you will need to get 6ohm resistors. I am working on figuring out which flasher our car uses because they sell them as well, but there's no guide for which one we need. This would alleviate the need to splice into any wires...
(Oh yeah if anybody knows exactly where our flasher is located please let me know, I did a quick look in all the fuse boxes but did not locate it....)

....so we have no idea what load resistor to get?
i've had my switchbacks for 2 months already and i was using 3 ohm load resistors. (not sure if it was the 6 or 3 ohm load resistor but its the ones that covered the front and rear)

which wire to splice for switchbacks?
i finally got time to take my bumper off and i looked at the turning signal wires and i wasn't sure which one im suppose to splice with the load resistor. i saw 3 wires.
1. black and red
2. green and orange
3. blue which was by itself
which am i suppose to splice into?

I am new to this site mostly because I just bought a 08 Maxima and love it. I just did my first mod, by adding led's in the front corner and turn signal lights. The problem is that the turn signals blink fast now. How did you remove your bumper to get to the headlights? I need to either do a load resistor/switchback or a electronic blinker/flasher relay, but can't figre out how to get the bumper off. So please tell me how to. Also I have an 08 Maxima and want to know if the wiring is the same as the pic above?

thank you for the quick reply, but I guess i needed to clarify better. How do you get the bumper off to get to the lights?
Also where is the flasher relay located? I am also considering a different electronic flasher relay.

I didn't really look at them as I haven't needed to do it. And a tester just tells you which wires are hot. (looks like a screwdriver with a light in it. Ground one wire and touch the "hot" wire with the tip, lights up when on...)

Connect one end of the resistor to the red wire at the headlight or the green wire at the taillight and the other end of the resistor to a body ground (my signals would only work properly connected to a body ground)or to the blue wire at the headlight or the black wire at the taillight. If you are just running switchbacks, then you need to connect 6ohm resistors to have them work properly.

im not doubtin u cause i know u've helped out a lot of the other guys with these issues but just to make myself feel better bout this....so by connecting one end to the red wire and the other to the blue my switchbacks should work? i'll hav no probs? i hav the l.e.d tail lights if it changes anything
