Good info. Ima gonna be calling the dealership tomorrow and getting this problem resolved / part ordered. I am in an 08 SE on stock front struts and Eibach lowering springs with all of Racingline's suspension parts. I have that 'clunk' you describe so I hope this resolves the problem. If I have to do it myself or they do it, it WILL get done.

So back to my original question. Is this something that I can do with some jack stands or should I have a professional do it?

Any good garage can do this...however they have to remove the entire strut/spring assembly....

If you have access to a garage or even a spring compressor, if needed, you can do it. Follow my post ( http://forums.maxima.org/6th-generat...ions-pics.html ). This should help you in regards to what to take apart if you are unfamiliar with it.

I would assume this would be a good time to lower it.
