What exactly do you want to know? Bang for the buck? That is subjective.

this motor should be easy to get an extra 25-50 hp - its already there just has to be tapped into.

Good lord post *****... Coudlnt fit it all in one post...???

TSU AKA TechnoSquare is the most popular..

http://www.technosquareinc.com/

~Definition of "Tuning" from an Internet search ~

-Tuning is the process of selecting the appropriate genetic operators and their respective parameters to suit a problem.
-The process of adjusting a radio circuit so that it resonates at the desired frequency.
-The Process of Establishing the Desired Frequency of a System
-The process of adjusting all of the working parts to their optimum positions.
-(music) calibrating something (an instrument or electronic circuit) to a standard frequency

As you can see, tuning is basically making an adjustment on something to get it working properly. This certainly applies to our philosophy of ECU tuning.

Automotive manufacturers design and tune their vehicles for general public usage.
To achieve better emissions and performance in today's automobile, the ECU is programmed to function in correlation with the stock condition and specification of the vehicle. Nowadays, factory tuning is done very well in order to get peak performance from the vehicle as its driven off the showroom floor.

However, when you start making modifications with performance parts, the ECU will continue to function as though the vehicle is running stock unless you tell it differently. Common problems are that the vehicle runs too lean/too rich at certain points or even an entire range of RPMs, or there is detonation under certain conditions.

TECHNOSQUARE ECU tuning provides solutions to these problems by making the necessary adjustments to the program and map data. In other words, we tell the ECU how to work with the performance parts installed.
As a result, in many cases, the vehicle gains torque and power from our tuning, however, in some cases, it may lose some in order to gain reliability. This is why when customers ask us "How much gain?" our answer is "We don't know".
Our objective of tuning is to get your engine running well and staying healthy for as long as possible.

The Power is not everything.
The Number is not everything.

Technosquare, Inc.

THATS FROM THE SITE I GAVE YOU...

I would not do any ECU work till you do the basics IE: CAI/EXHAUST/YPIPE/SPACERKIT

Still cant cant get over how much you just whored...

Apparently he was too ignorant to look at any of the links I posted.

Yes, the Z33 engine is essentially the same as our cars and dynos have shown that most FWD VQ35’s will put down more torque than most Z33’s (mildy modded on both accounts). But the Z33 always (typically) has more high RPM power. This is primarily due to its superiorly designed intake manifold (IM). But your question was ECU related, so I’ll focus on that.

The TS (Technosquare) reflash essentially adds a more aggressive timing map to your current map, and also alters the CVTC curve to mimic that of the Z33, which helps down low and midrange power. Since you never click on a link that I provide, I will cut and paste what I’ve posted in other threads just for you

Unless otherwise noted, all data is verified via Cipher/OBDII/Consult Interface

CVTC data logs mimic that of a Z33
AFR is 13.0 +/- 0.2 from 2400 - 7100RPM (Verified by an upstream WBO2 sensor prior to any catalytic convertors)
Timing is + 3-4* from stock (Comparing other stock A33B/A34's vs mine)
Rev limiter is verified @ 7100 (Sometimes it bounces to 7130 etc, but you get the point)
Car has seen ~ 138 MPH on the dyno, (Verified using DJ software.
That is what I’ve seen, although my car is a 5.5gen, I have no reason to believe that they do not do the same for the 6th gen.
Also, here are the other links I provided, in plain English:

SAFC/VAFC wiring & set-up for 04+.

Patch harness for 04+. This would help AFC/EMU/EB folks return back to stock very easily.

You can do essentially all OBDII functions:

Turn the cooling fans on at will
Adjust BTDC ±2º
Adjust idle ±250
Perform a cylinder pressure test
Fuel pressure test
Reset learned driving parameters
Check ABS codes

UTEC will allow you to tune your cars AFR / timing and a slew of other items (Best choice for you guys IMO).

Also, search the topic on my350z.

SAFCII = Adjust MAF voltage in order to alter AFR, but your ECU is more advanced than older gen Maximas, so I'm not 100% convinced the SAFC works for you since the ECU can learn over its(SAFC) corrections.

Keep in mind, I asked PRJ about Osiris, which is made by UpRev, whom are the same people who make Cipher, but Osiris is different than Cipher, but has yet to be tested on any Maxima.

Background on Cipher / Osiris / UTEC:
