lil update, I ended up trimming the bumper up 1.75", and this is the result definitely drivable, and the "lip" I was left with, mmmmm I will be using it... you'll see.

Nice, and I feel your pain, I had to trim my RedLineMax front bumper an inch also because as much as it looked hot, I was tearing it up on my steep driveway... Great work

I did however have the backside reinforced with fibergass to strengthen the lower lip since the under curve was now gone...

I trimmed 1.75", and im sitting at 4.5" from the floor, also my car is 3" lower than stock, most of you will only be about 2" lower than stock.

Is the bumper installed? I think I see a gap between the bumper and the hood. I also see a gap between the grill and the bumper.Otherwise, it looks great. Are you going to offer them with the LED strip and the mesh? How much did it cost to shave the bottom off?
So with bumper+shipping+shaving+painting we are looking at a ballpark figure of 600-900. Gotta start saving. Good job though.

the hood was open thats why you see the gap, and the grill was bent forward,

I did the shaving my self, I ended up buying a rotozip with a kool little attachment that help a lot, It took me about 3 minutes to cut it and the bumper was in the car , I'll be updating the price on my site to $285 per bumper plus shipping, of $120 (1 or two bumpers) which is a pretty good price considering the other bumper that is out costs about 350 and is full fiberglass and you still have to shave that one

The bumpers come with chrome mesh already , and those led strip you could get from egay for about 30 buck a pair.

I just answered a pm asking about the status of this kit and this is were we stand right now"

they are out already, and they should be getting a new shipment pretty soon, limited numbers are coming in though so I recommend to order anytime now so I can have you on my books and I can ship out as soon as they get here.

I did end up trimming mine, since my car is at least 1.5" lower than your regular 2" drop, so its going to depend on how low your car is (if you are on 22s you should be fine), this bumper is 3.8" lower than the stock bumper, so with the piece I trimmed out which was about 1.75" im sitting 4.5" of the floor.
Put it this way if you have a 1.5"-2" drop you will be fine, it will be low but drivable.
Right now im still discussing this issue with E.D. but for now the bumper will come untrimmed.

price will be updated on my site to $285 per bumper, (due to the might need trimming issue), shipping is 120 for 1 or 2 bumpers, and 150 for for the bumpers and the skirts (separate box for the skirts)

hope this helps

Max2damax, I love your work, I think what you are doing for the maxima lovers out there is the best I seen so far, all other kits out there don't campare.
but, yes there is a but.
I don't think you have a finished product. If you are going to sell lots of these you will need to modify the height. I know at this point you will not see a penny from me :-( and also a penny from all northern and eastern cities. one good snow storm or even a speed bump, which we have many in NY will kill all the money that was invested in this new bumper.
My suggestion is to trim what you did and also take an inch of height from the fog light .
Any way I'm crying right now because I know this is not working for me.

thanks for listening.

i love the work of the bumper buh i just wanted to know for those with CAIs i'm noticing that there is a rather large opening on the driver side of the bumper. is there a problem of the intake...being more open to the elements and all?

I am probably going to get this bumper. I like the top two pics, but Ill probably go with round fogs with street scene mesh around them. Can someone photochop this with a splitter and my red turnbuckles in teh front?
