I installed Brembo blanks with red stuff EBC about 20days ago(about 600miles with them on). The Brembo blanks rusted up because silly me, I didnt paint them. So I decided to get some zinc plated Rotorpros. I know you are supposed to put new rotors with new pads but I figured since the pads were only 20days old I would be fine.I installed the Rotorpros(drilled) today with the same EBC pads but when I got home I smelled the brakes and they smelled like they were burning a little. Am I being paranoid or did I F-up?

 

Your fine, pads are still plenty new, don't panic and the smell is normal, hard braking of course your gonna smell the brakes, even more so if you park in a garage
