scratched!
scratched!
damn.
woke up this morning, went outside... and noticed a fresh set of nicks and scratches on the front corner of my '08 max. A couple small ones on the corner of my hood... some all the way across my driver side headlight... and 2 down the bumper.
only thing I can think of is a shopping cart... because I was at publix yesterday.
so my question is...
how much can I expect to pay to a body shop to fix it?? I've never had to use one before. But because the car is basically brand new... its really going to bother me if I have to come out to it every day.

Dude, don't' sweat the small stuff...you will be chasing the infamous snake through the grass trying to fix every scratch and it will just stress you out. Get some chip paint from the dealer, cover it up, and wax it. You will save yourself a lot of stress in the end.
He's right. The left side of my back bumper seems to be everyone's favorite spot. I got it repainted once, it was $180. Then a week later, some young girl scratched it as she was parallel parking, and to top it off, my neighbor backed into it 2 weeks later. Take a picture, we can probably give you an idea of what you should do. touch-up paint. etc etc...
That is why i always park in the farthest space in the lot. Just so there are no cars around to bump my doors...
If you want to paint your doors and bumpers. plan on spending a couple grand and hope and pray the paint shop can match your factory color.

the best idea if its thin scratches that arent deep to get the paint model number and go to the dealership, like what they said above.
this kind of stuff is bound to happen to everyone.
My friend has a 07 Nissan Altima,
Dubbed out

and people keyed his fresh rims and paint, deep down.
Jelousy is a b

My entire front end needs a repaint, I don't tailgate but do more then enough highway driving to know thats where all the chips came from, my car was doomed from the get go, soon as I picked it up it seemed like every street and highway I drove down was being torn up and repaved, now that my front end is sand blasted it leaves me wondering if I get a new paint job will all the municipalities decide to to road work once again
