Brakes...07

I was wondering is there any warranty on our brakes..I have an 07, with 16,000 miles about..And they're squealing like no tomorrow...I doubt its dirt or something, since its been happening now for a little while..Will they cover this, or was my warranty done for this at 1

Generally brakes are a wear item and you've got a bit of mileage for them to authorize an in warranty repair. However, if you wait for the sun to hit the right position in the sky and you get a service advisor that isn't a complete jerk like most i've dealt with, they will cover it.

My first set of brakes lasted about that long. I got them to cover it too because the rotors were warped to hell for the 3rd time in that many miles.

Good luck.

I'm on my second rotor cutting and new pads. When I first went in at around 8k I asked the same thing. Knowing that most manufacturers only warranty thru the first 12k or so. I was surprised when the service mgr told me that they would be covered for as long as my regular bumper-bumper warranty exists. I had the fronts cut again around 16k or so when it was in for something else. Figured it was there and was starting to pulse at high speed braking. They said they would cut until out of spec then replace. GO NISSAN!!!
