On the hood I'm going to wait for feedback from some of my east coast brothers as we get into the rainy and winter season, already getting cold and the show/meet circuit is slowing down here so it's no longer a priority for me...

Actually no, I love some of the new work and innovative ideas I have seen, make me love having a Max even more and the 6th Gen's (I've had mine since 2003) are FINALLY getting some great stuff to mod with, sh*t when I first bought my max the only mod you could do was window tint and changing rims/tires, look at us now!!!

True, when I joined the org all I read was Dubs and bulbs....

I was like a kid in a candy store deciding on which color tails.

Now that's the hottest 6th gen I have yet to see. Now if you mixed chernmax's engine with your car, it would DECIMATE ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!

Props!

Deus, what you are suggesting looks good, but you altering the height, what i'm planing to do is using the existing opening and creating what you see, the new look will be flushed with the rest of the bumper and bondo the side fogs.

Its possible to raise it on my idea. Its just a design. Practically speaking, it could be made higher so its near stock height, maybe 1-2 inches lower

I like the taller openings which reduces the bumper thickness like this:

Maybe you can clean this up some.

Guys quick update, the new shorter bumper is in, here are a few pics and some measurements that way you can decide if it going to work for you, Its supposed to be around 1.5-2" lower than the stock one, once I can get my hands on one I put up official numbers; I don't know how many came in, so if you are interested hit me up so I can start putting peoples orders aside (this pictures are from a test bumper overseas not the final product,)

The Rear bumper looks better then you think.
I recieve compliments on the GTR kit almost
everyday. The front bumper gets plenty of
attention @ first glance. Then everyone really
starts to feel the rear bumpers appearance as
well. It really does look good! I'm definitely happy
to have the only one in Florida so far. Not thread
jacking mad2damax, just showing off Ezkoncepts.com
awesome GTR kit. Thanks man,

the GTR bumper in the rear would look great with the custom tips that sort of outlines those trapezoid looking holes. Sort of like an LS460, but make the tip thicker and more visible and it's good to go! Even the big quad tips on this rear bumper with our 6th gen doesn't look right...i dunno, just my .02

So, the price on your site is incorrect then?

Is it possible to run just the GTR front bumper and have a 6.5 gen rear bumper? Lowered on eibachs, do you think that would look ok? I'm not a huge fan of the rear bumper, just want to hear a professional opinion.

That's exactly what I'm going for. With the new front bumper, yes.

Would it look ok without the sideskirts? Not really liking those either.

For now, "Hint" I guess anyone who purchases now will get that price, I procrastinate a lot, but hopefully this weekend I get some time to update the site.

Yes it will look fine, I have the RLM bumper which is the same height as the GT bumper. Here's a side pic:

Ok great. Thanks. Sorry if I was threadjacking, but it was a legitimate question about the bumper.

Absolutely lovin the GTR kit. Some limo tint and smoked headlights would be icing on the cake although your Max is absolutely sick as-is. Keep up the good work

Hey it's not thread jacking if you're still on the general topic!! Had you asked about headlight or rims then you would have probably gotten flamed!!
