How do you line up glove box?

I bought an in cabin microfilter and like an idiot followed the instructions on the filter instead of the owner's manual.

The filter instructions have you take half the dash apart.

After I put it back together I realized the glove box was not lined up right - essentially its almost hanging down a little on the passenger side.

I took it back apart and F'd with it a little bit - its somewhat better but hangs down just enough to bother me.

How do I line this stupid thing up properly?

Read that, but it doesn't say anything about how to get the glove box lined up properly. I've got it back together, but the alignment is now slightly off.

Super glue, duct tape and some velcro should do the trick...but seriously I think there was a recall on this awhile back. I've never had this problem though.

If mine was affected by the recall, wouldn't it have been misaligned prior to me changing the filter out?

where the glove box is, towards the bottom there should a horizontal bar. you might have a screw in a wrong hole. at the plant we had problems with ppl putting screws in the wrong holes. the round holes should connect the dash to the steering member while the round holes are for the glove box. hope this helps, been a while since I worked on one cant picture it well
