DAMED to keep the MAXIAM..

OK guys soem of you followed my other thread about the car going to the dealer for a pining and now a slue of other issues. So we went to Infinty last night to trade it in and do the paper work on a 08 G35X-S( Iahd been there already). Anyway the sales manager I was dealer with was not there and cause it was so long since I was there last time( 3 weeks) they drove the car again.. and needless to say they wanted to take money away from the trade in due to the car drives like complete dog poop and is very slugish among the other pining and skipping when it shifts. So now my payment is WAY higher than I wanted so I will keep it and try to fix the car. The only good in this is Nissan has done the repairs free of charge and I still have my claim with Nissian. Just wanted to vent. I have no faith in the dealer fixing the car I just have no choice but to keep giving it back.. I still have 38 months left on the Max

if it's slipping during the shift drain the trans fluid or better yet flush it but don't trust the shop the bg flush machine always overfills the trans and then you'll start getting torque converter DTC's, if the engine is knocking drain 2 quarts of the oil and add 2-3 quarts of trans fluid(it has natural detergents) run for 15 min then drain and fill w/ new oil, hopefully you use synthetic. I guarantee your car will run better. I did the same thing to my '04 max and my gas mileage actually increased by .8 mpg average

The tranny has been drained twice, Once by me and once by the dealer. When to dealer did it, it accually made it worse. The engine is pinging not knocking. And yes my MPG sux azz 15MPG is horriable.
