Looking for an 04-05 SE with leather, xenons, etc...Looking for one with under 50K. Looking at an 04 silver tan leather, 6spd loaded all the options, with 52K miles, asking 16K. If the car is mint as the owner says it is, what should I offer?

 

dont buy a 04.... go for the 05's...

What is difference between the 04 and 05?

 

Not a lot if you are getting a 6spd... but the auto's came in 4spd auto in 04 ... Some late 04's got 5spd auto..

I have heard a lot of ppl having probs w/ 04's in general... thats not to say that ALL do/will...

But i just never buy a car the first year its out... Just my .02

 

i bought my 04 SE about a year ago. at the time, it had ~25K miles, Bose, leather and i paid $16,500 for it. it was in perfect shape.

i just turned 33K trouble free miles. id like to get new rotors (all around) as the front are getting warped. i also had 4 new RSA's installed under the recall.

mine is a 5spd auto as well.

there is nothing wrong with an 04 5spd.

actually, ive been thinking of selling it and getting into a Charger R/T

Re read what i wrote, i never said anything wrong w/ the 04 5spd.. i said the 04 4spd are known to have probs...

Either way.. i vote for 05+ 6spd .. wish i got a 6spd

 

I got an 05 5spd for 11,300 with 54K and no probs with it so far and I absolutely love it!!!!

if u look long enough u will find a 06 for the price point u want...i did a few weeks ago was in the same boat as you

 

I paid 20500 for 05 SL with all packages and Elite package with 29000 miles on it.

I guess you would pay 14-15k I know I place here that said they would sell theres for 14k( Infinity dealer) But I know I have a had a slew of issues with my 04 SE just hit 50k and the car starting acting up.

 

What type of issues exactly?
