09 RIMS

Coolmax,

Where did you find your rims? For $1000 I definitely wouldn't pass up a deal like that.

From a 7th Gen person of course. I was the first 6th Gen with 7th Gen wheels. Whoopeeedoo!!!

Personally, especially because of the high offset (+50mm), I would keep looking.

I bought these from a great site called "Elementwheels" for cheap.

Hey Ron. How are ya bud?

The German tires were on backorder and I had a sell. The Toyo's were immediately available.

Yes they are Toyo T1R's.

The whole setup including TPMS install including mounting, balancing, of two sets of rims, lugs, rings, new wheels, new tires, $1870. As you know T1R's alone run $1200 shipped.

Ended up getting $1050 for my other wheels and tires so not bad.

You're welcome Brah. The spacers combined with your 2009 Maxima wheels should set her off! You're going to love the handling--and ride quality should be fine. In my opinion 19's are the optimized size for Maxima's.

You're going to be happy you went 20mm & 15mm. 25mm is overkill, rough on your long term suspension reliability, and messes with your handling.

Post us some pics soon!!!

Pics will be up tomorrow! Ride quality is so much smoother with the new wheels, its really shocking. Handling feels very close to original 18" setup but I think with some good Michelin Pilot Sport A/S it will be right back up there! The wheels are sitting perfect IMO in regards to the spacers, again pics up tomorrow for eveyones eyes to see.

Came out really really nice. Those wheels look a lot better on 6th Gens. How do you like the offsets. What kind of tires did you get and how's the handling and ride quality?

Thanks man! I love the offsets- peefect compromise between looks/ performance. Tires are factory GoodYear Eagle RS-A. I will look forward to swithching them out for some Mich. Pilot Sports in the future though, these are not the best on wet roads.

I'll throw up pics of the rear with the 20mm spacers tomorrow- very wide and aggressive look.

What do you drive? A 2010? As I see in your profile? If yes, then why do you complain these rims are too tucked in? When they come stock on the sports 7thgens? They just loook ok, stock, on the 7thgens.

But since you are worried about them tucking, go with spacers. I don't have spacers on mine and don't mine the tucked in look. It still looks good.

Looks really good. Seen a set of rims only on kijiji for $750 but 19" tires was too costly. I like these the most of all maxima rims.
