For all it's worth, it's "you're" as in "you are", not your retarded. Talk about moronic, err ironic...

if anyone was wondering this is a do it yourself kind of job if your ok with drilling holes through painted bits. it came with all the hardware and wiring necessary, even a little pouch of anti-rust stuff to put in the drilled out holes. i just had them wire it into the brake light behind the rear window so it would only come on during braking not when the rest of the running lights are on.

all you have to do it wire it into the third brake light that's behind the rear window, so that it only lights up during braking and isn't on all the time. LEDs take such minor electrical draw to run that your third brake light wont be dim from feeding both lights.

Hello Folks,
does the spoiler take the place of the "Lip Spoiler" that is on my 04?

Great spoiler, I just did the same to my 07.

QUESTION - is there another shock/strut for the trunk lid?
now that I added the spoiler the trunk shocks cant handle the extra weight as well - slams harder, doesn't pop open as well

If you do a quick search, you'll find a ton of stuff on here about this issue. The short answer is when you remove the 04-06 spoiler, to replace with the 07-08 spoile,r they do not mount in the same locations exactly so you will have to have a body shop fill in the drilled holes remaining from the original spoiler. The trunk will have to be repainted as well.
