WILL THESE RIMS FIT

I BOUGHT THESE RIMS OFF EBAY ON AN IMPULSE BUY

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...284706171&rd=1

I got them in today and showed it to one of my buddies and he said he doesnt think they will fit. I have a brand new set of 245/35 20" tires sitting there as well. The big issue i have with this is im not sure if the 40 offset with the 9 in front and the 9.5 in back will fit our vehicles. Any help would be highly appreciated thanks...

I had a set of 20x8.5 with a 40+ offset and it was perfectly fine. Nice pick up.

I'm on a 5.5 gen but was running a 20x8.5 38 front and 20x9.5 rear with a 40 offset. No issues, just had to role the fenders. Now I know with the 6th gen you can run a larger width / height wheel diameter then me with no problems.

I would assume your concern would be running that wide in front. You should be fine. If you already have the set up why don't you just put them on and see?

i have to get the tires mounted on the rim first and didnt want to waste my time if they did not fit.... One of my buddies wants to buy the rims on my car how much should i sell them to him for? they are the chrome 18" rims that come on the SE (almost look like the special edition 350z rims i have noticed that not to many people have them) or you think it would be better to keep them just in case something happened with these rims?

Keep em... you may want to swap out for the weather etc... Not to mention if something happens to the rims. pothole, thief, etc... at least your not stuck.

I ran 20x9's in the front for a long time without issues...

The Presence has 20x10's up front.

So, why would you buy wheels then ask if they'll fit?

Do you know Kryogen by any chance? (Another member)

^^^^^^^^^^ hahhhah ROFL!!! i was fallin asleep in class til i read this, lol.

kcmaxx - i think i saw a post by him not too long ago

from what i understand, +/- offset is how far the hub is from the center of the rim.

i believe for our cars at least, is that a higher positive offset would not have problems [most rims]

but if you wanted deep dish rims, negative offset would be optimal
