Keeping price out of the mix what would you buy either the 2006 with the normal 5 speed automattic transmission or the 2007 with the new CVT transmission? I definitely like the look of the 07 front bumper and the interior revisions and I think the CVT eliminated the torque steer the old automattic tranny had? Of course I can buy an 06 for a little less but what's the better transmission and which one will get better gas mileage??

i would choose the 06 and then buy a 07 bumper + fogs + grill.

the cvt is cool but i sometimes miss the feel of the engine shifting when i floor it.

I get better gas mileage out of the my 08 then i did with my 05.

However the better interior in my 08 are a plus in my world...

So the decision yours...

Thanks for the advice exactly what I wanted to hear, I thought the MPG would be better with the CVT and the better interior is a plus. By the time you buy an 06 and pay for the frontend retrofit that would eat up all the savings between the 06 and 07 it seems to me. If the 06 got better mpg I would lean towards that since it would be cheaper. I really do like the look of the 07 exterior and interior better and with higher mpg's it should be a no brainer for me.
