Thinking about a gunmetal or powdercoat for my g35 coupe rims..

First of all let me say your car looks great in all (3) pictures. That has been the best implementation of fiber hood I have seen to date.

I like the first the best.

As far as painting versus powdercoat, I am too ignorant to have a opinion on that (trust me on this one).

gunmetal looks good, I believe if you wanted to powder coat a set a rims it'd cost you around $360

First pic that is gunmetal is best. Powdercoating is better but more expensive.

Yes, there is a place out my way that has done my grills and I know they do rims. If u want a place ur way, try phone book or online.

#1 is the better color and switch to progress springs. Those H&R are way tall. Car looks sick man!! Props!

Did you get that front left 1/4 repainted?

yes prgoress FTW in the near future LOL.. it looks like im not even lowered... the 40 series tires dont help lol.. but it will look sick w/ my new springs ...

on to the painted 1/4... nope... its the same... still needs to be done but rather spend the $$$ on other stuff right now... it doesnt look tooooo bad in most light

I paid under $200 for my set. They bead blasted every inch and coated them inside and out.

They have an awsome texture and if they chip they spray it again free.

I also didn't get them cleared. The powder I picked out (Tiger P5) had a low gloss lusture and I love it.

Damm $200 thats a great deal, I paid $300 on my bike wheels and thats only 2 rims.. I was thinkin of powdercoatin my stock Se's.

fwiw i say stock.

powder coating isn't cheap and if you're going to spend 500+ on them you're better off selling them and just buying some after markets imo...unless of course you're really dead set on keeping them then throw all the money at them you want
