06 maxima Sl with white walls
the is one of my customers at my detail shop.. 06 maxima SL he picked out these rims. i tried talkin him out of them the best i could, but there was no changing his mind when he saw them. to make matters worse he wanted white wall tires..lol. i tried as talking him out of that as well. he tells me all the time how people are staring at him and his car. i just thought ide share a pic with you guys. lmao
Does not really look bad, but it is a well know fact that history does and will repeat itself, just realize that most of the kids riding around in their parents cars are now the ones coming up with the design ideas.
I guess after busting him out on the web like you did probably means he won't be a repeat customer at your shop. Plus the other 25 people that he will steer away from you. Nice business move.
Your post struck me b/c I teach a course on Customer Service and I wouldn't suggest busting out a customer but maybe he likes the spotlight.
Your detail job does look good, would look better if the customers car wasn't so cartoonish.

Thats a classic line, reminds me of Roger Rabbit. Scale of 1 to 10, I'd give it a 6. I wouldn't do it, but I guess it's...umm okay. Hey you gotta look at it like this, old dude is modding it old school style.
I'm still waiting to see some raised white letters
The fact that he's 53, you gotta understand that during his youth, white walls were the shiznit. He's in a more stable place in his life and if he wants to live it up and bring back his heydays by putting white walls on his ride, then I say kudos to him. There are worse cars to put white walls on you know. At least he put it on a Maxima which is a cruiser type of car, instead of a 350z.
People in their teens are into the baggy jeans with underwear showing at the top, and 53 year olds just don't understand that statement. I guess we just don't understand this guy's statement. At least he keeps his car very clean by detailing it twice a week. <shrug>

That's what I was thinking. It's his car and it doesn't look all that bad.
