gotta 08 max... 1 yr birthday was 12/24/08 [xmas eve]..car got 21,000 milez... boy did i drive a lot for that 1 yr.. not no more tho

 

bought my '04 in Feb. 07 with 78,000mi. just turned 120,000mi.

 

04 max 52k miles

 

bought a 2000 with 55k km in august 08. now the odo reads 72k km

 

Bought my 2005 in Aug 0f 2005 with 20 miles on it and now it has 96,355 miles. Mostly driving to and from military reserve duty. Need Struts and motor mounts.

 

Bought my max in July 2005 with 8 miles on it. Now she has 46,000 miles on her. That includes a trip from NC to CA

 

2004 with 34,200.
Anyone have lower mileage with a 2004?
6,500 miles in 17 months since I owned it = Rough guess 4,500 miles a year.

 

looking to buy my cousin's 04 max with 132,000 miles on it and he is the first owner,

bought my 06 back in december of 05...she got a hair over 70k.

 

I might have the most mileage here.... 125K miles on 2004. Quick question should I be changing my timing chain now or ?

 

timing chains should last the life of the car.

 

yep, they should last the life of the car. your secondary chain tensioners however...might need replacement soon.

 

o4 w/ 63k. bought 2 yrs ago w/ 38k. sunroof leaks like hell now.

Bought mine in Sept 07 w/ 34K on it....now has 62K. I drive a ton for work and it sees a lot of use....I've even got two other vehicles I drive some.

Been a good car other than never being able to 100% figure out the alignment. I've got her third set of shoes on the way, and just put new brakes on a few weeks ago.

Getting a little nervous about all this timing chain stuff I'm hearing......

About 82,000 for me now - bought it in Nov 04

 

05 Maxima SE purchased in 06 with 34K. Today I just hit 44K

 

08 got her in May has about 5600 miles :P

 

bought june of 07 with 5 miles on it. now has 17,632

Bought FEB,2008 W/72k.....Now 84k!

 

Bought new in August of 2003 with only 7 miles on her, 46K+ miles now!!!

 

go mine a week ago, but it was purchased by my dad 7years ago with 60,--- something n has 184--- on it an has been wrecked once by a sibling then i bought it off her... they gave it to her

Bought used with 13400 in late December, only just turned 14k and some change now. I do get that silly click or thump when turning to the left though.. need to take it in. ;-) 2007 SE

For longevity sake;
How often do you folks change the oil? And do you use 87 or better octane?

 

Just bought mine 2 Weeks Ago. I got 60,200 miles on it!

 

i usually do every 3000 miles and i use 91 octane but fellow orgers say their isnt much of a difference oh and my max hit 45500 today still have a long life ahead i hope

 

'04 SE with 77,659 miles. Bought in Feb. 2007 with 46,495 miles. I'm hoping to keep this car until at least 2015... Currently using Mobil 1 with 5000 mile intervals, but Castrol Edge might be my next choice. I would always put 87 in my car, but started with 89 for the past month.

 

How is your 04 running 04SL? You might have the most miles on this forum for an 04... Any problems through 173,000 miles?
