After work i noticed i had some water build up behind the passenger seat on the floor. Taking a closer look i moved the seat as far as it would go and removed the carpet only to find A HUGE PUDDLE under the passenger seat I checked the vents but they were dry, as long with the pillar and door jambs. I have no idea where the water is coming from.

Just curious if anyone else has had this issue before i dig deeper into it or just break down and take it to the dealer.

 

Man that sucks did u try searching for the answer might want to check under the car my have rusted through if so wow more nissan bull ****

 

O i just thought were there people with alot of snow on there feet? just a thought

 

A/C evaporator run off hose clogged?

sunroof run off hose clogged?

sunroof run off hose routed wrong?

any repairs were recently done?

 

when it snowed up here i drove my truck but i remember 2 weeks ago that i let it idle for a good 40 mins or so. Other than that no one has been in the back just dirty. i will try to diagnose the problem when i have more free time thanks for your replies. also the search is/was down before i started this thread...

where is the ac run off hose located?

 

hole under the floor matt?

 

pass side door seals? check them out.

 

you're going to have to pull up the carpet and check underneath it for disconnected drain hoses. try looking right under the dashboard on the passenger side.

 

+1 on door seals.Mine was leaking pretty bad along the top of the door @ the weatherstripping.Turns out there was dirt and pine needles and such in the creases of the stripping.

 

The last three GM cars I owned all had interior leaks and the water came in from the door seals. Being that I view Nissan as the Chevy of Japan (quality wise). I am not surprised to see these pictures.

After another RAINY day at work i noticed my puddle became a lake, i immediately took out the back seat cushion and what do you know its damp under there as well.

Then i noticed on my pillar a slow but steady stream coming down going behind the seat. However my roof isn't wet to the FIRM touch.

There isn't any water anywhere else so could this be from my skyview???

i know u said you did not have a moon/sun roof....but knowing this car and its design, i have a good feeling you have this problem. It was posted in 2005 by lightonthehill (wish i had read it then....)

i am in the process of trying to get rid of my car as the corrosion has gone to the underbody plates...and nissan will not cover coz i showed it to them 25 days after my warranty expired!!! (corrosion/perforation is 5 yr)

take off your maxima face plates on the doors and lift the carpet to check for rust.

 

sounds so nissan....

 

could be the pass side 5th window gasket or the rear window gasket also... I have herd about an issue with the skyview leaking, *knock on wood*
