Its been non stop rain in frisco! I remember seeing an ad on a new wiper design which got rid of "Pressure points" which is suppose to clear the windows better. Forgot who made it tho, maybe someone else can chime in.
I haven't heard any bad reviews about rain x wipers tho.

http://ultimatewiperblade.com/ub.php I have had two sets of these over the years and will buy again, they come OEM on most European luxury cars. Bosch and others are knock offs of this design. Good luck.

I have them, they are great for Spring, Summer, Fall, but EPIC fail during winter weather. The ice build up ruins them and they get ruined.

I have a pair of RainX blades on all three cars. The only wipers I ever had that were better were Bosch ICONS, well better is a muut point. Same product, looks identical, just diff name. But feels like they did a better job. (thanks Daniel).

Rainx solid blade wiper blades are awesome! Thats all I have to say about that.

Rainx work fine. Sometimes not the best during winter though, but thats for all blades I guess... they get stiff and frozen.

My 2 cents.

I have Rain X on one of my cars and the new Anco Edge blades on my other. They are both the same type of design (no pressure points, smooth design, etc)

They both perrform very well.

I actually think the Edge work a little better at highway speeds since their shape seems to grab the wind better and push them against the winshield a little more for a smoother wipe.

I would use either again, but since my neighbor is a Anco guy and gave me them for free I guess I'll be using Edge's.

RainX on mine as well. I like them for most weather, although the only freezing rain we had this year got interesting before I got home. I also use the rainx window treatment and washer fluid which helps a lot. The worst I've tried were the bosch frameless or whatever they are called, worked for about a month and went down hill rapidly after that. I'm a high milage driver so they get used quite a bit. Ymmv of course. Frank

Had the RainX blades, and was a huge fan. I have the Valeo Ultimates currently, and they have been very very efficient. I might try the RainX frameless ones, but I'd recommend the standard ones to anyone.

not to thread jack but since were on the topic of wipers. I just bought a max about 3 weeks ago and it was from a used car dealer and was wondering if it's normal to have a little tiny gap between the wipers that never get's wiped away. It's a small triangle at the base of the window and it ticks me off. Did the dealer just put the wrong sieze wipers or is this the way it is on all maximas?

+1 for the rainX plus you can usually find good deals and coupons if you go to their website. Free visibility package with purchase of two wiper blades it seems. http://www.rainx.com/offer/

Yes there should be a small area at the bottom that does not get swiped. You can easily verify if you have the correct length blades at any parts store using the electronic selector they have in the aisle. On the 03 Max I believe they are 19 driver and 21 or 22 passenger, yours may be different.

we sell those at the shop i work at and they work awesome. i have them on my car currently and love them. we only had one guy want us to take them off. only cause the hinge in the wiper arm on his old jeep was seized up and wouldn't push down on the blade, but he wouldn't listen to me so i just took them off and put his old torn wipers back on.

Those are the Rain-X Latitudes. Saw that commercial too. If you think about it, any decent blade will have a good consistent seal against the window regardless of "pressure points". Hell, they make wipers with "pressure points" themselves (I've got them on my Maxima now).

I purchased a set of "refill" PIAA blades over 3 years ago and they still work great. I clean the blade whenever I wash, so that may extend the life on them, but regardless I have never used a wiper blade this long before.
