MAGNAFLOW 14862 VS. TOP SPEED EXHAUST

Need Help! Cant decide between Top speed catback (ebay exhaust) or just magnaflow mufflers. Would like to hear some pros/cons of each...hopefully from ppl that have them. Both are exactly the same price for me. So should i just get mufflers and keep the quad tip look or is it better to get a catback, get rid of the crimp but loose quad tips???

i'd stick with a trusted name and keep the quad tips i have a magnaflow on the white 3rd gen and a flowmaster on the black one the magnaflow has a smoother and a mellow tone than the flowmaster.I notice that people that have Magnaflows on their car i does have a smoother tone. You might have the bees in a can sound with the other one. But sounds and performance is gonna be dif from yours to mine but you should definantly stick with a trusted name

Very good point...ebay catback is made in china BUT the people who have it have not complained about quality issues and love the way it sounds (but so do the people who have magnaflows)

I've had the top-speed or the eBay exhaust on my 2005 maxima
for several years now. There's not one complaint what-so-ever
with the quality or performance. Definitely worth the money for
sure. Trust me, if it was crappy it would have be removed immediately from my ride.

I have magna muffs... No more crimped pipe(had a local muffler shop replace it).. B pipe from cattman... and USED to have the Cattman Y to go w/ it.. Car sounded amazing.. Even now w/ my car being Almost stock, It still sounds great... I only have on the mags and my spacer kit LOL.. stock intake no resinator... MMMM...

Either way will go great... Just do some homework and look for some sound/video clips and TRY to choose which you can afford and like...

The way i went was not cheap.. But sounded great... If you can get a WHOLE setup for 350 on ebay.. it might be better if you have a budge..

The choice is yours, NOW GO GUY AND HELP THAT ECONOMY! LOL

Trust me I've done more Homework on this than I have for school all year lol.
From the clips that I have heard so far the Top speed sounded slightly better but the clips were not good quality. The magna's sound a little bit tamer...and I'm worried that if I keep stock res that my car will sound almost stock until I floor it...thats definately not what I want...and I dont want to experiment with aftermarket resonators becuz I've noticed most ppl have bad luck with that (drone)

I'm pretty sure its the 2540i mufflers. Those would be the only ones that would fit.

Yeah I know what you mean. I guess I don't really care how it sounds on other cars as much as on my own car. If they're terrible, I'll take them off. That's how it works.

That price is very reasonable! All I've heard is that the quality and sound is awesome for the price.
