Looking for a Nav Screen Write Up...older thread
Alright, I could have SWORE I saw a member post in the 6th gen forum a how to on using an LCD screen for Nav / videos...it might have been a year ago...I have searched but cannot seem to find it. If anyone can provide me with the link, it'd be much appreciated.

You can't make the LCD screen work for NAV/Vids, you can use the OEM NAV screen to play movies and rear view. Or you can move the LCD screen down and put a screen where the LCD screen is and then hook it up to your HU...
Clarify what it is that you are looking to do and we'll help!!

Thanks, man...I bookmarked the thread awhile back and I knew, KNEW I would lose the mark...lo and behold...
Alright, now I think...I THINK I saw the thread in the 6th gen forum. A guy had added an LCD screen that had a somewhat ghetto brain attached to it...it was all one unit. He found a way to have it switch between nav and video...the unit was all of $150 or so. IIRC, he added it to a 6th gen as an add-on monitor. *sigh* Hope this helps...

Hmm not sure I remember that one. When I had a dual zone HU, I almost always had the NAV displayed up top unless I switched to a movie. But beyond that I wlil hope someone else saw what you saw and chimes in!!!
