Front Motor Mount - Finally Fixed
Well, I broke down and ordered a front motor mount from eBay. Unit arrived today and I decided to start the install. Well, for starters, the unit is not as wide as OEM (used spacers).. 3 Hours later, Thank God I got this fixed. Back to the nice smooth launch..

good. mine was broken at 30K.. and i had replaced 175$ from nissan. and 100$ to swap in by my mechanic. it was a PITA to install. car feels more powerful and feels less vibration at the steering wheel

How do you know if the motor mount is broken? Can some one post pics or links to a previous thread that discussed this. I checked with not much success.
Thanx Rick |
Where is this motor mount located?

My mount was trashed to pieces. I have a 6mt, so I had to be extra careful with clutch release or else I would hear a loud thump. Now that it's fixed, I release the clutch like an old lady:D (not riding it).. The front motor mount that was changed is located just at the back bottom of the radiator. I noticed that the rubber insert looked as if Edward Scissor hands had worked his magic on it.
