Pics of ground kit??

Anyone got pics of there grounding kit installed? I know where to upgrade the major ground wires... battery and alternator. Just wondering what other points are grounded.

is there I got the instructions. I made my own for like 10bucks. Install was really easy. You might want to look into the VIAS block off plate too bc the stock butteryfly valve is plastic on 07 and 08's.

I read the writeup on these kits, are they really worth the $50? I mean, I'm sure they look great, but do they actually provide the performance increases that they boast? It all seems so subjective...

I only ask because I'd like to consider one. But want more justification then just the writeup from the guys trying to sell the stuff.

Iono if they are worth 50 bucks but as DownriteMaxin mentioned, it can be done for about $10. For that price, I think it is a great upgrade. I did it on my previous car and I noticed, clearer sound from speakers, and ever slightly brighter headlights (could be in my head, haha), also noticed that the car idled smoother.

I def noticed a difference. Throttle response and just the overall CVT performance was improved. I didn't think i would notice anything, but i figured for 10bucks and since I was doing the block off plate I thought y not. My lights are brighter, sound system hits harder, and as dumb as it sounds the windows roll up and down faster. I only noticed that bc I had read that someone noticed it so i lookat it after i installed mine and its true. Good luck with the install.

Instead of the VIAS plate, you can just run the wire a little farther over and connect it to one of 4 bolts holding the throttle body to the upper intake. It's a little past the "butterfly valve" going towards the driver's side.

Interesting, Activetuning has them all out of stock. What's up with that?

I just looked at the Stillen setup, but couldn't find the install guide for it. The activetuning one was online, but not Stillens. Do you have it? I'm curious what the extra wires go to...looks like they've got some doubled up, and either 5 or 6 total. What's different about that kit i wonder?

Hey dude - Here's the link man ->

http://www.stillen.com/product_files/606340~inst.pdf

if that fails to open just hit the little tool wrench on this page ->

Let me know if you have any other questions man.

Damn, I must have just missed this. Thanks for the reply. I'll review it and see if I can add an additional link or two...(now that I've already done the other)

Anyway, I got impatient and picked up parts to make a kit on the way home from work yesterday. Wound up being exactly $50 with the crimping pliers for the 4 gage connectors ($15 just for pliers). I followed the active tuning setup and installed last night. With a quick carwash included the whole thing took 2 hours to perform.

I'm very pleased with the performance afterwards. As everyone pointed out in the past, windows are much faster, interior lights and dash is brighter, even the tail lights are brighter. I didn't notice much improvement with the HID's, but they were always so bright I'd never be able to tell the difference. Sub woofer hits a little cleaner and harder too now (new Dave Mathews been in the car playing for a week now). I've only driven it 6 miles so far, so jury is still out on engine performance, but it did seem more responsive. Not easy to tell until I get out for decent ride. If just for the lights and stereo alone it was worth the time to do this mod.

I believe activetuning discontinued them from what I've been told.
