My 2007 Maxima, which I park outside here in a very urban Maryland suburb of DC, seems to have quite tasty ABS wires -- to rodents. Something chewed through the wires located along the rear axle, ruining the ABS sensors, too, for a repair bill of over $900; happily, it's covered, not by warranty, but by the comprehensive portion of my car insurance. I'm asking to have some kind of shielding placed over the new wires and sensors in the hope that will slow the critters down, but this was a big surprise to me!
