Help!! How do I clean corrosion off female/male connectors?

One of my LED tail lights is having problems.

4 months back, a car hit my parked Max... Insurance fixed the damaged and replaced 1 of my LED tail lights.

Now it looks like that same tail light has NO brake light or turn signal light.

I removed the tail light and the dumb *** mechanics didnt insert the 3 connectors into the tail light housing. So the wires were hanging lose.

I noticed green corrosion around and inside the female and male connectors.

I dont believe the lights are Fragged! Because they still turn on. But when i break, the light goes off.

I think i just need to clean the green corrosion off. Is there spray or liquid i could buy to clean the connectors??

I figured someone would know what kind of spray cleaner to user and if someone would say the same thing...

But good bash though!!! LOL

Try dipping the ends in coke. (Cola)

It works great on battery corrosion.

A potent combination of baking soda and warm water do the trick on a car battery...it would probably do the trick on a connector.

use some sand paper on the connections, or a sharp exacto knife or blade to scrape the corrosion off of the metal. Then treat with corrosion resistant grease.
