I'm rapidly losing faith in my Maxima. I've got an 08 SE, 40,000 miles, I'm sales it's my company car. I drove 2 taurus's over the last 10 years and this car has been in the shop more in a year than they were in 10. Little stuff mostly, the head liner kept coming unglued and falling down, replaced the whole thing twice and finally Nissan comes up with a fix of 2 part epoxy for the velcro intead of hot glue. The seat and steering wheel worked sporadically in and out of the shop several times finally figured out it was a short in the steering wheel motor. Had a drone at 45-50 figured it was the same thing I'd read about on the forum, nope, wheel bearings, 40,000 miles wtf? Picked it up tonight and pulling in the drive I hear a squeal like my daughter practicing her flute. It's a fun car to drive guys but I don't think it's going to last my normal 5 year 150,000 mile rotation. Sorry for the rant but I'm more than a bit frustrated with it. I've got a good relationship with the dealer, I get a car to drive when I bring it in but I'm tired of always having one more little thing go wrong. Might be time to start thinking about my next car.
