05 Auto Throttle body..
05 Auto Throttle body..
Just curious if anyone else has the same symptoms. I have been told it is normal to hear my throttle body kick in sometimes, and have been noticing it more so when I turn off the engine. It sounds like there is some mechanical pump or some pressure being released or something. I have been told it is the throttle body that is kicking in sometimes when I am accelerating or letting the car roll with the fuel injection.
The kicker for me here is, I have never heard the throttle body when I got the car, and only now I am noticing it. Although I have been told by experienced mechanics that it is normal, I don't consider it normal. Am I really just being too **** about maintaining my car and allowing every little single little thing to bother me?

This happens with the 350z TBs,
Disconnected the negative side of the battery for 5 mins.
tap the negative twice and connect the terminals back and tighten them.
sometimes that plate gets stuck open which is common with the Z guys
