Factory Extended Warranty on CVT

Got a letter from Nissan today, 10 years/120k miles and reimbursement to anyone that had paid for any work on early models. I had no idea they had that many problems with this tranny -glad Nissan is stepping up early on, but damn

No worries, dude. We were all over it when Nissan posted it on their website .

As to issues with CVTs, we haven't seen any trends in the Maxs' yet, so don't be alarmed with the notification of the 120000 mile CVT tranny warranty.

^ Did you have any repairs done? You're eligible for reimbursement if so.
