Will these tires rub?

2004 Maxima (6th Gen)

Tsw Snetterton

Front:
8.5 X 20"
235/35/20 Tires in the front
5x114.3
Offset 20

Rear
10.5 X 20
275/35/20 Tires in the back
5x114.3
Offset 25

WILL end up changing tires to a 40 profile. They just come with 35's (35's are almost bald.

Car is droped on tien springs w/ kybs and 75 lb system in trunk.
I really like the wide 10.5's even though we arent RWD it still looks good.

Will it rub?

offset(et) it wrong and would rub on the back if not the front as well. Most people running a staggered set-up go with a 35et. A 20et with those rim widths are just too extreme. I was running 20x8.5 with 35et all the way around with 245/35/20's. If there local you can try them on but that setup is more for a g35 (what I would assume there off of)

stick with around 35 for the front and for a width that wide in the rear, at least a 40 for that, which it may even still stick out. I would get new wheels with the appriopriate offsets, especially with a drop

+40

Not only will they most likely rub, they'll stick out quite a bit from the fender.

Different tires won't change the fact that they're the wrong wheels for a maxima.

They will rub , im running 20 x 10.5 on 275/30s

The First set of tires I had Had NO issues,

These new Yoko S-drives seem to rub on the inside everytime I hit a bump./
Its not rubbing on the fender even tho ive rolled them.

It all depends on the offsets but with a 275/35 it will rub

I would say 10-10.5" in the rear.

It's not the size, it's the offset.

My 20x10's are +41 on 255/35/20. I have ZERO issues.

Ok Im gonna bump this thread again for another Question.

I have a 19X9 with a +45 Offset and a 265/35/19 tire already on it.

Keep in mind I am lowered and this tire size is for the rears only. I am not worried about the fronts as they are correct bc they are 225/45/19 on a 8.5 inch wide wheel and a +43 offset. and My question is if it will rub the inner fender on a bump?

gonna be close man. my 20x8.5 45 offset fit nicely. my tires are 245/35/20 though.

so 10mm or 1 cm will stick out than i do. you might be okay. another concern if you care is if it will through your speedo and odo off. the calculators do a good job of that.

Yea, Its pretty close I have it on the car now and I think that if I hit a bump or have weight in the trunk it might rub. So I was hoping someone had the same size. As far as the speedo concern these are the back tires and the tires in the front I checked the tire calc an it had told me it will be .5 MPH off. So that isnt the problem. The main issue here is the width of the back tire its very close but idk how to make sure. Any ideas?

are they flush? my chrome set was. and if someone sat in the back or i hit a bump while turning or caused a bit compression i rubbed. the Gr2s reduced it a lil, but still happened.
