Tenzo R type black rims on white

I found these rims on eBay and I was wondering what you guys think. Along with the rim I'm planning on doing the black overlay and swap out the rear lights for the black led's. Your opinion is really valuable.

thanks

looks good. i say do it! funny thing was, i was originally going to get these rims in white and run 255/40/19 but there was a guy selling his rims (now on my max) locally for $400 with nitto tires. it was so cheap i couldn't pass it up. anyways, you should definitely get these rims. and post pics.

Thanks Family, for the feedback. Ayrtonsennad, thanks for the pics, that's a nice ride. I can't wait to get these shoes on, now it's just a matter of whether it makes sense going stag. The rear would be 19X10 which I'm a little skeptical about...especially traveling on NYC pot holes. Anyone running this size and do you have any problems?

I was thinking about that. But I was wondering if that would be too much black.

Make sure to get the right offset to avoid pics like these.

wheels look decent but the offsets way off.

BTW, these pics are horrible for showing off the wheels.

To what KC said.

Especially here, the right offset will also give the wheel more of a concave look, which with the Tenzos looks mad sexy.

You could go staggered but the only thing is you cant do tire rotations. A lot of ppl in NYC are running staggered setups without problems.. with or without a staggered setup - a pothole will damage a rim pretty bad so you gotta watch out for them.

I'll also add you can rotate tires just fine with a staggered setup.

It just costs more if your tires are directional.

If they are, its 4 dismounts and 4 mount/balances. You flip the tires around side to side.

Thanks jsmithsole. Old or new, you've always been on top of your game. looks like you're running black 22's. Also, got any pics of the intensity of those led fogs?

You got a point I3LaZeN, but I'm not too worried about the rotation. I'm going to stick with the 19's because I want to keep a descent amount of rubber on these bad boys. But if 20's is what you want luis, go for it.

Give me some examples of good offsets for different size wheels, what do you consider good offset??

19s and 20s.

Thanks man! They are 20's but look big since they are all blk with no lip

As for the LED's, I need to get some better pics but check it:

I didn't say your car was ugly.

What I said was your offset is way off.

Here's two random examples.

See the differences between the two?

Correct/aggressive offset:

Horrible fitment:

Thats my point. I actually dig the RLM bumper...

Wanna trade for a NIB GTR?
