04 SE Manual Trans Problems

I did a search, but didn't find anyone having problems with their manual transmissions. I have 125K miles and I have already replaced the clutch. Yesterday, it started making a noise in first gear that I can only describe as sounding like a lawn mower. It is very faint in the other gears. Anyone else had this issue? I'm sure it's bad, but just wondering how much it's going to cost me if anyone else has had it fixed. Probably going to take it to the shop next week and avoid first gear until then.

You would wana make shure this is not the throw out bearing... if thats the case the bearing may cost 20.00 but to drop the transmisson may cost alot.

when the car is started is the noise there without putting it in gear. or when you depress the clutch.
