PUDDLE LIGHT MOD *(Added door/floor LED's)* PG 2

Well last night I got a wild idea to install LED's in the bottom of the sideview mirrors.

I wasen't real sure how to go about it but said what the hell and did it.

I didn't really think about taking alot of pics but I did get a few.

These things are amazing... At first they were a little too bright so I sanded the LED's down a little with light sandpaper. Basically frosted them.

Heres a few pics.

They look kinda blue but they're super bright white.

I actually like how this looks in the dark opposed to the door handle LED mod.

Thoughts?

They're wired into the step lights so they fade off with the interior lights.

Looks amazing...

I had planned on 2 or 3 per side but one is plenty bright.

The LED's I used were 5mm 5000mcd super whites. I actually took some sand paper to them to even out the spotlight look. Basically frosted the glass to even out the light.

It's subtle enough that it looks factory. I didnt want it to "stand out" like something was stuck under the mirror.

Hard, no. Scary as hell, yes...

They're under the mirror. The mirror housing is thick enough that the LED's are basically flushed. Besides the black holder, you can almost look and not even know they're there.

Today I got bored again and dug up a few more lights I had laying around.

Thanks bro.

Nothing much to speak of. Just the false floor and the amp rack.

Unless you want the GTR bumper.

After all that I decided to try and install blue LED's in the floor of my Pathfinder.

Wasen't easy considering the truck dosen't come with footwell lights.

I installed all of the super white LED's from MaxPower, and ended up tapping into the overhead console for power. Ran the wire throught the headliner and down the A pillar to the floor. There was absolutely NOTHING to mount to but I got it done.

Sorry for the crappy pics, I'll take more.

KC, I'm diggin these and looks within the scope of lighting mods I would restrict myself to, do those come in RED and what's the 411 parts wise. Excellent pic's already for the install info.
