will new tires rub?

I have a 2006 Maxima Se with 22x8.5 with 245/30/22 and have no issue with rubbing. I have more than 40k on two tires and the others around 17k and 25k. Lately one of the tires psi has been dropping and car is starting to pull to right but thats cuz the psi on that side is low. Only brand I tried is hankook. Well I want to add a bit more meat to make the drive a bit more smoother. So i'm thinking of going 255/35/22 but Im not sure if its going to rub. Right now I can fit 4 fingers from top of tire to fender, 2 fingers toward front fender, and 3 fingers toward the back of fender.

when I turn the wheels in it almost touches the inner fender plastic not the fender aluminum. I know, I know I need a drop....So my question is will 255/35/22 fit a wheel of 22x8.5 I don't want to get stuck with tires I can't use.

the 255/35 are gonna be kinda tall and bulky the

245/30 is 27.8 tall
255/30 is 28.0 tall
255/35 is 29.0 tall

go get a tape measure and measure the distance across your tire making it 29 inches in the fender well, it will be damn close but you probably going to rub a bit if you make sharp turns up front, forget about lowering it with the 255/35s it will rub for sure

The hardest thing now is buying them.. So many places to buy them. I found them online for $189 brand new. But I'm thinking maybe trying to see if American Tire can get them and get some warranty and free rotation. I wonder if they are as good as these hankook tires are with pot holes...
