6th gear popout

I'm having an issue with my 6spd 04 max, When in 6th gear and accelerating it pops out of 6th gear, no grinding , does not happen in any other gear, if i hold it in place it stays in without issue. The clutch does not slip at all. I'm not sure if this is a bad gear or some blocking rings or what it could be , any ideas would be helpful.

did you get that fixed by having the tranny rebuilt or did you just replace the tranny?, how much did it run if you don't mind me asking

i just replaced the tranny, the local junk yard wanted $500 for the tranny and i installed it myself, problem solved, i could estimate about $1200 to repair the tranny including parts and labor
