07-08 6.5 Front Lip.
ok, so we all know the other lip that was being made might take some time or may not even happen. he has other obligations due to his everyday life and/or work. however i have thoguht of a few ideas to get this thing going.
Another member had started custom fitting the Mugan accord lip.. looked hot and was about an inch off on each side.. never finished..
The 05-06 Altimas have a similar front bumper and also a stillen made lip for them.
The 09 Altimas i think would be more reasonable to try.. need your opinions and figure i take one for the team!... lets hear it..........

I personally like the 09 lip, what lip is that??. I also have a guy I know and trust that could make us the lip under a month. He said if I can get 10 people, he will get this started for us. He has won many awards for custom work. He does, bumpers, trunks, hoods lips, spoilers. You name it. You guys let me if you are interested and I'll have him come over here and discuss prices and time.

the 09 is also made by stillen... i like them all. 09 the best... RAZ76 im down if u can get more ppl... i might bet the 09 myself and mess around with it i know some pretty good ppl too!! lets get this done!

He is in Cali so he would probably need someone local to him to help with this. Fitting and such. He would need to buy this 09 lip and then make as many as we want after that. I will talk to him today and have him come here and talk to all of us, answer any questions you guys might have.

Im from Anaheim, miss that place. I graduated from Katella High in 94..lol.

WOW I missed a lot!!!! Yea Like I said in the previous thread I mentioned that the '09 Altima Lip could possibly work- and work well at that. Stillen lips are VERY forgiving and if the lengths workout it could be an easy mod.

Hello everybody I'd like to introduce myself; im the guy raz76 is referring to.
My name is Noel or "cali" as many people know me by and I run Socal Autowerks. Mostly produce fiberglass or carbon fiber parts (or carbon overlays/wrapping) but also able to get rare JDM parts, as well as many parts from your everday companies like HKS, Sparco, Eibach, etc.
Raz76 mentioned you guys would like to have a lip produced for the 6th gen max and i'd be more than happy to get it done. I would need a minimum of 10 committed buyers. The first step is to have you guys decide what style of lip you guys want. Since i do not have easy access to a maxima, in this case the fastest way to get this going is to have one member on here is properly "fit" a lip and then send it to me to have a mold made. Of course, this person would be compensated, more than likely with a carbon fiber version of the lip.
if finding somebody to modify a lip to fit isn't possible then we can explore other possibilities...
I do not collect deposits until the prototype is ready. once it's done, i collect a deposit of usually around $100, give or take depending on the final price of the product (i cannot completely price it until i have the prototype in my hand).
once all 10 deposits are collected, the mold and the pieces can be done in about a month to a month a half, depending if i have any other group buys going on.
if for some reason we cannot reach the 10 deposits, then i simply refund everybody their money.

as you can see the pics posted above are some ideas we have in mind as far as front lips are concerned. i guess where we going to go form here is have a poll to see which lip has the most votes. then tally the results to see which lip should start off the production.
so far i vote for the mugen lip

I like the 09 Altima Coupe lip also, only thing I would be concerned with is the part in the front/middle where the opening is. That would have to be modified to match ours. My second choice is the 09 Altima Lip....lol

Welcome 2 the org.. 1 thing - this lip will be made for the 6.5 gen not the 6th gen [different front bumpers]. Ima have to say i would like to see the altima coupe style lip modded for our car.. you'll definitely be able to get 10 members easy.

Awesome, a lot of us see the potential the '09 Altima lip has for our cars. It's a great design and that black altima in bottom of post #26 seems like your almost looking at a 6 gen!
Your shop would do this in fiberglass or polyurethane?
