Dropped on Teins

Finished my finals last week and finally had the chance to slap this set of Teins and it turned out pretty nice. I was aiming for a stock ride comfort while evening the height of the car. I barely notice any change in ride comfort but it might because i have been driving my RSX lately. Performance wise these springs feel great hitting corners and at take off. I took a few before and after pictures but i hope this helps those who cant make a decision between Progress, Eibachs and Teins. Enjoy!!

After:

I will take more pictures when the springs settle in a bit. Is it me or does the rear needs to be dropped a little more? On another note, I cant wait for the 6.5 lip.

Looks good, I wouldn't drop the rear immediately, let it settle first then decide afterwards.

Ya looks great, I wouldn't touch the back either, the last thing you want is the sagging in the rear.

Really got me thinkin about Tein. Been debating it for awhile. Ride comfort was what's been holding me back.

Still on stock shocks I'm assuming?

Looks great.. I have been wanting to lower my 08 as well but the wife is worry about the ride quality. Ride quality surely will suffer when lowering your car but how much from stock is what I would like to know.

You are right im still on stock shocks but you should def go with Teins. The ride almost feels like stock but you will notice potholes and bumps just a little bit. U-turns have been a lot easier and tighter not how it use to be like a limo.

I did GR-2s with Tiens, and it's quite a harsh ride... maybe it's something that I did wrong (first time doing the suspension). I've read FAQs, and says that if it's a harsh ride the ride is too low... but Tiens don't drop that much. I also have 17", soon getting 18" wheels; so I'll see how it is after that.

I've asked around, and was told to try stock shocks, but I think my rears are blown because it was riding REALLY low and kept bottoming out....

It's probably the shocks giving you the harsh ride...

That looks great. I've been thinking Tien's too for my 07. I do all highway commuting and want something alittle tighter feeling that stock but without too much drop. Those look great. I've only got 30k on my 07' so I'll use the stock shocks as there is plenty of life in them yet.

Teins will be perfect for highways. I only have 27k on my 07 and that is why im sticking with oem shocks
