2004 Maxima SE 6 spd

Can someone help me! I have owned this car for about 6 months. It has a standard 6 speed and 18 inch wheels. It has recently developed an irritating vibration upon acceleration. I feels like wheel balance but gets worse at high RPM. I have had this car to the dealer twice and they don't know why it is doing this. I have replaced the drivers side axle and replaced the brakes all around. I just found out the the passenger front lower BJ has some play in it. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this.. It is completely ticking me off. It is a shame because it is a beautiful car. The tires are brand new. It seems to be worse in the morning or when the car is cold. The dealer thought it may be an axle. They also said it might be a posi unit inside the transmission. I am desperate to find out what this is. Could the clutch going bad cause this?
Any advice I would appreciate.
Chris

I have the same problem.. It's less when I have someone on the passenger seat. May not have anything to do with it but I am changing my shocks and struts along with the strut mounts.

Things I will be checking:

Motors Mounts
Axle
Play in wheel (Bearing)

Jack the car up 1 side at a time , try to move the wheel up and down ( wheel bearings )

Side to side ( ball joint )

Check your tires for bubbles or bald spots / (you sure you had them balance?)
Both tires in the front are the same tires? same threads ?

Also could possiable be your steering rack.

Please clarify something, does the vibration stop after you let off the gas?

Update on my 6th Gen with the same issue

Got around to changing the struts and Bam --> the right axle fell apart during the removal of the strut. Changed my struts plus right axle, and no more vibration on acceleration. Not saying that you need to change both axle and strut but it resolved my vibration issue..

More than likely its the passenger side axle...its known to go bad on the 6speed. I have had to change mine as i was getting a really bad vibration during acceleration. Have the axle checked.

I just had this issue myself. I had vibration on the right side of the vehicle at speeds of 55+. Took it to have an alignment and balance done and I was informed it would be worthless to do the balance because one tire had at least 3 bubbles. I replaced the tire and now the vibrations are gone......and now the clutch wants to stick to the floor!

its the clutch slave cylinder thats bad....its another common problem with the 6speed. I had mine replaced a year ago and it still happened. Try not to leave your foot on the pedal while driving, it help to eliminate the problem.

I don't, I press, shift, foot off, every gear. It only does it some times, not all the time.
