20" Car Ride

I recently put 20" Rims on my 2008 Maxima and experince alot of discomfort when breaking and going over 70 mph. I have centering caps which I thought were suppose to lessen the vibration and shaking but they really cause a discomfort when I drive. Any suggestions? Maybe spacers? I've had rims on my other cars and they did not cause discomfort like this when I drove?

they are not balanced. have them redone at a better shop.

my 20s are barely noticeable over my 18s.

The question is, are the wheels/tires new or used?

Bad belt in a tire or a slight bend in a rim will have serious vibration.

run your hand over the treads, are they cupped/scalloped?

The next question is, are these wheels hub centric?

tires and rims were brand new and the tires were balanced already at a shop that does my tire jobs. for the breaking i guess yall are right, prolly just need bigger and better breaks then the stock ones. thanks for all the info and advice.
