Which Roof Spoiler??

I want to get a roof spoiler but not sure which would look best.

I have an 07 with the factory trunk spoiler. Which do you guys think would look better?

Or are there any other options for roof spoilers?

I like that one! It matches the 6.5 gen better.

Did you get it directly from them?

The second picture I have up is made by them but I found it on ebay. It looks like it would match the 04-06 better.

on the ionic. I don't like how the second one angles up. But then again it comes to you painted to match your car

Yes I ordered directly from them:

http://www.ionicdynamics.com/MaxFGroofspoilers.html (scroll down)

What Gollum said is true though, if you order the Ionic you'll have to have it painted to match your vehicle. That's probably another $100 give or take at a local body shop. Give the body shop the paint code of your vehicle and they'll take care of it. For a little more many shops will mount it as well though I know some folks mount it themselves.

Swoop up or down eh? Interesting. The 07 trunk spoiler swoops up so you kinda think it would match but I don't know.

I have the Ionic, had it painted and installed for like $125 at a bodyshop. Let us know which you pick

So I got the ionic spoiler.

Now my question is what has everyone used to mount it??

I've heard people use 3M but not sure how well that would work. What glue would work best?

3M double sided tape will work perfect, no glue.

Did everyone's come with the tape on it already or did you put it on yourself??

Cuz right now mine doesn't have it on and honestly looks kinda rough. It's def gotta be worked a little bit before paint and not sure how well the 3M would stick to the fiberglass.

Usually you need your own tape. 3M will stick to it no problem...

This roll should be good enough for your application.

Thanks. I made it myself from the trunk spoiler from a Mazda 3 that I cut teh ends off and molded to my car. I got the idea from the Hamann roof spoiler on the BMWs. I made a thread of it somewhere on here.

And for the thread, I vote the same rear spoiler as in the pic I posted of the wheels. That looks best IMO.

Just had my Ionic Roof Spoiler installed this morning, bought it from another org member. It looks great and fit was perfect, got it painted and installed for $75 from my friends body shop. Have to take some pics later and upload to my profile.
