Cig. lighters not working?

Hey guys, so I took a trip to California over the weekend and brought a GPS along but was unable to use it because neither of the two cigarette lighters work on my center console. I finally remembered the one hidden on the passengers side on the way home and that one worked, why would only one out of the three work? I checked fuses and connections...

In the fuse box on the drivers side. You can get 5 for a buck most anywhere.

Daylight finally came I checked the fuses and there all good I belive there were three fuses one said front power outlet the second said rear power outlet and third said cig lighter which is wierd because I don't have one. Well next thing I checked is the outlet its self I went for the one on the passenger side which was pretty easy to get to for it to be visible the connections seem fine. Any Ideas anyone? thanx

I actually checked all three fuses as well as the plug under the cig. lighter and one fuse was bad. Once I replaced it, all three worked, not sure if they are in series or something but all I know is they work now, so I'm happy
