Hawk brakes, street vs Performance Ceramic

Hawk brakes, street vs Performance Ceramic
What's the compareable difference between these two pads? Same price for both...I want the best quality. Break dust isn't a concern, since I clean my wheels and car frequently enough. But I see that both boast some level of eliminating that. Other than that, I want great performance, and long life. So which one is better?

I have the HPS and they dust too much. Cant keep rims clean, thats retarded.
They brake ok when cold, and really good when hot. (but they never get hot, because you would have to brake hard often to get them hot, which you dont do on the streets....)
So basically, I would go ceramic if I had to do it again, because the rims would stay clean, and they are good enough.
One way or the other, the oem pads were able to lock the wheels, the hps can, and the ceramic can. I dont really get that "better braking" thing. What does it mean? I can brake with less presure on the pedal? Moderate presure locks the wheels anyway, with all 3. Maybe the hps "bite" a bit more when hot, and like I said, they never get hot, unless I brake like an idiot to get them hot.....
